Whidbey Island Fair Youth Livestock Auction

Date and Time: Saturday, July 26th, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM (admission to fairground required)


Location: Whidbey Island Area Fair Grandstand Arena 819 Camano Ave, Langley, WA 98260


What You Can Do: Support our local youth by participating in the livestock sale:


  • Bid on animals being sold.
  • Donate directly to the youth through our Add-on/Donation Sheet

Bidders

Options –

  • Keep the Meat: Bid on the animal, pay for the purchase price, and cover processing costs at Del Fox Custom Meats. Example: (e.g., Pig half) - $6.00/lb bid x 150 lbs (live weight) = $900.00 to youth + $0.99/lb cut & wrap + $42.50 processing.
  • Donate: Bid on the animal and donate the meat to a family in need or a food bank.
  • Turn the Animal: Bid on the animal and opt to allow the youth to resell it to support the youth further.

 

Animals are sold by the pound (live weight)


·        Cattle: Sold by the quarter

·        Swine: Sold by the half

·        Sheep: Sold by the whole

·        Poultry: Sold by the lot 

Purchases

After the auction, purchases must be paid in full by cash, check or credit card. A service fee may be applied to the credit card transaction.


A receipt will be provided upon full payment.
